Meet Dr. Shannon
Dr. Shannon Skiba, DDS, is the dentist and owner of Highmark Dental. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The Ohio State University, where she later served as an adjunct professor — teaching general dentistry to first- and second-year dental students — and brings more than 15 years of experience caring for both children and adults.
Before opening her own practice, Dr. Skiba provided dental care on a contract basis for the U.S. military, and she serves as Director of Dentistry at Heinzerling Community, leading dental care for children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities — the foundation of her deep experience in pediatric and special-needs dentistry. Licensed in both Ohio and Georgia, she pairs advanced clinical skill with a gentle, judgment-free approach.
